| New to the Swing. When my bike is on the centerstand the rear wheel is not off the ground. Is this correct and if not what should I look for. Thanx, Fred |

| Possibly aftermarket rear shocks. Hagon shocks are longer than OEM shocks. Or possibly a car tire on the rear. What size rear tire do you have? |

| Maybe the previous owner shortened the stand to make it easier to get the bike up on the center stand. |

| I've got Hagon shocks and a new tyre and there not much clearance between the floor and the tyre on the stand, but the wheel spins freely.
To the OP, are you sure your stand is not sitting in a depression? If not, stick a piece of wood under the stand feet before you use it to lift the bike higher. |

| It seems you've answered your own question in your Introduction. You stated that the center stand was bent when you got it.

| Stand lifting arm was bent. Seems the original owner just tried to put it on the stand by standing on the "lifting arm" ownly. did not pull back on the bars or lift the rear at all, or had the parking brake on. |
