Was watching a YouTube video about winter motorcycling in the snow. The guy was wearing a helmet cam and appeared to be riding a Suzuki burgman (not sure). About halfway up the windshield there was a convex mirror mounted. I'm guessing it was about 6" wide and 2" high. It didn't appear to be obtrusive at all. I could clearly see his blind spots on both sides in the video being he was in the center of three lanes. The mirror looked like it was held on by suction cups. Looked like a good idea. Searched eBay but can't find anything similar.

YES that is the one. Thanks MickO. Very nice product. I checked out the site and would buy one in a heartbeat except for the $100CDN price tag. Now that I know the product name I've discovered it's already been discussed here.

I bought the Riderscan mirror, after watching a video. I found that it did offer sideways views, when stopped. However on the road when riding, it was like watching a video of yourself as when you glanced down all you could see was, Yourself, i found it offered no better view of vehicles approaching than standard mirrors. My Riderscan has been collecting dust in my Garage for just over a year now.

When you watch the video at around the 50 second mark he says that he looked in his mirrors to do a change into the left lane and he said he either ended up under the tires or almost ended up under the tires of a vehicle.

I NEVER change lanes without looking over my shoulder to make sure it's safe to do so. I trust my mirrors but not that much.
