Hi,

I changed the permissions so that all registered users should be able to access the map and also where members are, that is, if they provided the city they live in. I noticed that my "pin" is about 20 miles away from the city I live in though.

So, when you log-in and decide to see the map or Who is On-line, just go to the bottom of the Main Page and then click on the "Who is On-line" link (in blue letters). This will bring you to a map. You can also use this map for other things too so that is handy. If you have any questions please get back to me.

Ride safe,

JeffR

PostSubject: Subject Line and attachments   "Who is On-line" function I_icon_minitimeWed Dec 24, 2008 9:56 am

Jeff,
This is a neat feature. I do have a couple of questions. First, when I press replay it asks for a subject. I thought it would pick up the existing subject line since that is what I am replying to? Make sense?
Second, I would like to "attach" a spreadsheet on info regarding the silver Wing but apparently I need to find a public space to store the file? Any suggestions?

Dennis,

When you hit the Reply button you are not required to fill in the subject line if you don't want. I think that is just to change the subject line. I haven't filled in the subject line on any of my replies, so I hope this helps.

Concerning the spreadsheet, let me think about that and see what I can do. There is another site that is just for the moderators in case they have questions or problems so I will run it by them. Thanks for the questions though. I am wanting to post some spreadsheets and things too so it will be good to know these things.

Ride safe,

JeffR
