250 mile Forza ride!

I hope no one minds a ride report on my Forza? My Silver Wing is waiting for me in Arizona so no rides there. After it cools down no problem.

A couple of friends and I left Ely Nevada (NE corner of the state and rode to Wendover, UT which is on the Nevada-Utah border. It was a 250 mile day for me.





I hit the Salt but couldn't quite break the 200 MPH mark, sigh. LOL

After a 250 mile day I have decided that the Forza will NOT go to Sturgis or Daytona. Awesome scooter but not nearly as comfortable as the SWing for such a trip. I have made several 400 mile days on the Wing with no problems...no thank you on the Forza. Just a bit too small for me and the seat would need replacing. This is not to say the Forza is not a good ride but for my 6'0" carcass shorter distances are in order.  Hope you enjoy this little report, I haven't seen near enough rides being done, hint, hint!

Currently own both (although the Forza is up for sale).

The Silverwing is a cruiser for sure and will eat many miles in one day on the motorway/highway. The Forza with its lightness is a great city and back road bike, its so flickable. It does need a higher screen for over 60mph.

Never seen a red one, but they do look nice (mine is grey).

Hi,Totally agree on that ive tried the 350 &300 and the 350 is the better one as its got a screen you can adjust to suit,And bit more power but not for long distance,

Well Michael, I've owned a 2018 Forza 300 for almost three years, not just tried one. So it'd be fair to say I've got a darned sight more experience than you.

Believe it or not my 300 has an electric height adjustable screen. As for long distance the 300 is every bit as capable as the Silver Wing I used to regularly tour on. Before lockdown I toured the Champagne-Ardenne region of France on mine and cruising the French toll motorways was no problem at all. I was very happy with the 93 mpg and 200 miles tank range.

Our motorway and the steep 1in 3 gradients in Cumbria and North Yorkshire are no problem either. So I'd be very interested to know where you 'tried' out a Forza 300 and found it lacking.  


Perhaps on your next post you could properly Introduce yourself to the forum.

It would help if members are posting about the Forza 300 would mention the age of the model they were riding. Simply because the sportier compact 2018 to 2021 Forza 300 with electric screen, full LED lights, traction control, and smart key ignition is a totally different to the  previous twin headlamp model.
