| Hi Everyone.
Ive been looking at this forum for a while now but never got around to saying hello. I bought a black abs silverwing (2009) model about a year ago. we bought this scooter for a trip from northeast England across Europe to lake garda in Italy for our summer holiday. The swing performed faultlessly, it cruised two up with luggage at 80 to 85 mph across Germany, it never felt like it was struggling and returned between 55 to 63 mpg. The oil level never moved. Prior to departing we fitted givi airflow screen, mirror extenders, fehling pannier and top box frames and a givi E55 top box and E21 panniers. we were very impressed by the swing and also the givi panniers and top box which did not let in any water despite torrential rain right across Holland. We are currently preparing the swing for a second trip and have complete confidence in its touring ability. bye for now. |

I have just also return from a 1600 miles tour of the french alps and loved it aboard my bike.
I am now planning more trips within the uk this year and next year again in europe.

this year in August I and my friends go to Denmark - west Sweden and Holland
The Silverwing is a exellent "scootertourer" . |
