E 52 topcase mounting bracket.

Guys and gals
I am asking IF someone has a E52 mounting bracket sr19
that they no longer need?? I had it on my 04 silverwing
that I just sold. BUT I did not want to take it off of that
bike and leave the holes. SO IF someone has the sr 19
mounting bracket that they do NOT need anymore just
let me know how much you want for it. I know the NEW
sr19 brackets cost $96 plus tax. OR does anyone know
where I can get the bracket any cheaper.????

What about asking the person you sold the scooter to if they want to give it / sell it back to you? Gotta be worth a punt.

I had lost the plastic cover that fits over the electrical socket on the
Bracket. PLUS the wire somehow got crushed to much and the elect.
lights socket did not work. From the wire being crushed.
I did look on Ebay and most of them want the same price as a new
one from the Honda dealer. So I may have to go to the dealer to get it.?

I would buy genuine GIVI @ around $100. GIVI stuff is good---my E46 Box has over 500,000 miles....even stood the shaking of a HD Sportster!!

But want to be cheap? Bolt box directly to rear spoiler. Holes are already there to be punched out. Probably 8mm threads already there. As to GIVI wires----they died early on my box----make up your own---

If the stop light kit is not pre installed It can be a night mare to install. The connections are hard to fit with stiff sore hand,and the connection between the box and the sr 19 connection only works in one direction,can be confusing when all the wires are black.

Thanks for your suggestion and all. I am going to pay a visit to the dealer
and get the bracket.

Before you go to the dealer why not buy 4 rubber blanking grommets from a hardware store, and suggest to the dealer you can cover up the holes where the Givi rack was.

The bracket come's in handy when traveling,convert the box into a suitcase.

Update time
I did go to the Honda dealer and order the mounting bracket today.
The bracket cost $89 and change. I had asked the guy IF the electric
socket for the topcase came with it. He did not know so he had to call
givi usa and they told him that was extra. Yeah $7 extra but I had to get
it.So all of it cost $107 with tax. I will have it next week.I like the
monokey cases the best because you can take the topcase off when not in
use. Ya know I would have thought that electric socket would have
come with the bracket instead of 2 parts guess they know how to
screw ya out of MORE $$$$$

When I bought my Give 55 It did not come with the light kit.I had to order the stop light kit separately. I regret not getting the kit that had the running and turn signal,brake lights.I might install one later.
