OK good people, thinking caps on time.

I have a noise eminating from around the front wheel when in motion.

It's a knocking/tapping sound. The noise dissapears when I squeeze the right brake lever, re-appears once the brake is released.

The wheel bearings were replaced less than 700 miles ago so I hope I can rule them out.

Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance.

Possibly a slightly loose disc pad but more likely the caliper itself. From what you write when the brake is applied the noise goes away so to my way on thinking the slight increase in pressure on the pads is allowing the caliper to 'firm up'. Caliper not tightened up when wheel bearing replaced.

A belated Happy Birthday btw.

Cheers,

Try lifting the front wheel of the ground and spin by hand .Take a long screw driver and apply one end on the axle bolt and to your ear and see if there is any grinding going on.
