Today I was caught in a shower on the way home for the first time on my Swing. I have ridden in the rain before but only on cruiser style bikes with no fairing. On my Superglide, even if the road is just wet from a recent rain, my legs get soaked from the water that is thrown up by the front tire.

Today I learned the pleasures of a full fairing. It was raining steadily but not real hard. My helmet vision was collecting some drops but I was not getting wet anywhere else. I kept waiting to see if I needed to pull over and put my rain gear on but I never did. I finally ran out of the shower and continued on my merry way. COOL BEANS!!!

Wow isn't that the truth. I got caught in the rain on Wednesday and I found the same thing. I kept wiping my face shield with my glove. I had a light waterproof jacket on already but just my jeans and they never got wet. I kept waiting to feel damp and cold but I got home and thought the same thing...yea cheers

I tilt my head back a little (still can see forward) and let the wind drive the rain off my shield ... it works very nicely.
