Hi Everyone:
Just finished posting a few pictures of our trip to the west coast of Canada last summer. ( https://www.silverwing600.com/gallery/Personal-album-of-royr-cat_u104.htm )
I purchased a small tent trailer and bought Dennis's trailer hitch and magic connector. It took all of one hour to get the scoot ready for the trip.
The trailer is an old one I bought from a bike shop in Edmonton. It weighs approximately 120lbs. When the little woman puts all our gear in it, it probably weighs 250lbs.
We rode two up plus all our gear for 4000kms. Went up 22%grades in the rockies. Rode tru rain and sun and wind and a little sleet. This scooter was amazing. I had my doubts when we left whether it would survive this trip. Not only did it survive it thrived. I had goldwings shake their heads as we passed them. Lots of interest when we were on the ferries. A few snickers ( mostly Harley's) but that's to be expected from people who ASSume they know bikes.I wore out a new set of tires. I ran them too soft. Next summer I'll add a few psi and see if they wear any better.
The trailer towed perfectly. No wiggle, no waggle no bounce and tracked great.We kept up to traffic on the Trans Canada highway. ( 60-65 mph) Passed a few trucks and moved at approx. 80 mph. The bike, the trip and the trailer were all awesome. I pushed this scooter (carefully) beyond what it was designed to do and it surpassed my expectations. Next trip Alaska next summer.
I figured an inexpensive way to mount passenger floorboards to the scoot. Will take pictures next week and post them if anyone is interested. Degree of difficulty 2/10

Roy... I am very interested in your trailer set up. Would like to get more details for possible obtaining one here. Looks great and my wife is very excited to learn about it.
