Guys,

The family and I went to our local motorcycle Walmart today, Berts Mega Mall, just to putz around and look in their parts department. Anyhoo, we were looking in the scoot section, and there are alot of AN650 Burgmans for sale. I sat on a standard 650, nice bike. The bike was heavy but nicely appointed, the standard was selling for $6799. What a Face
New ABS wings were selling for $6999 chickendance , where were these deals when I was buying???? vomit . I looked at the online diagrams on cheapcycleparts.com, and the Burgie is a complicated beast Shocked Shocked Shocked . Anyway those were my impressions. SW2010

I have just bought a Silverwing 600D to replace my Burgman AN650. The CVT problems I experienced were horrific. Let that be a lesson to the unwary... Check my posts on their site (I am the "Burgermann"). The site people were most friendly and helpful. And now it's good to be back on a Honda (my 8th since 1966).

Moonman,

Welcome to the site and hope you enjoy it. I have read your posts there since I go to the www.burgmanusa.com site too, and I do enjoy it. It's too bad you had the trouble with your bike and hope you enjoy the Silver Wing. If you have any questions please just ask and there is a "Pictorial" section to do some maintenance or mods that can help you out too.

It seems like more are having problems with the CVT or at least reporting them more. But I guess it is a very small percentage that have trouble but when the CVT goes out it just costs alot to repair. Tell us how you like the new SWing and a couple of mods you might want to do is to install the Hyperpro front springs and a windshield. The springs really make it feel more m/c like.

SWing2010,

Places are having good sales on scoots in alot of places. I was at a bike shop today and they have quite a few B650's but no price breaks, and 2 Tmax's. I haven't seen a Silver Wing for sale in awhile though.

Thanks JeffR for your welcome.
I feel like I am with family again (always loved Hondas - ever since my first C50 stepthru (made out of scrapyard bits). But it was all mine.
Had a Vespa 125 years ago too (pushed it further than I rode it).
My new steed comes with a screen but I will certainly check the front springs out.
I also have the James Bond cream BMW Cruiser.
The scoot will be mainly to and from my workplace.
Cheers, Moonman
