Welcome. I think your scooter looks cool. It must have taken some time to get it to the ride that it now is. Keep posting and let us know how scooting in Cyprus is like.

Wow! That’s a beautiful custom job.

Please tell us more about what & how you did it. It appears that it started as a SWT-600 (something we didn’t get in North America). I’m curious about the front suspension. Are the full length front forks standard for that model, or something you adapted from another bike? I’m also curious about the black belt case covers. Has something been cut away or are they original to the SWT-600? And what about the tail end?

Superb handy work, looks great. Is your front tyre on the right way round? Just looks odd.

And where’d you hide the ECM and Combination Meter computers? Or what did you do to get around the need for them?

And mono-shock rear suspension too? Wow again.

I take back my previous comment that this looks like it started out as a SWT600 Silverwing. Now on closer look it could be an FJS600 engine transplanted in another bike. Hmm… maybe a Kawasaki.

Wow again: Love the bodywork.

Come on Typerinos, tell us more about your build.

Welcome aboard the board Yiannis.  It appears you've put in a lot of time, money and effort into your custom build. I too am interested in learning more about the front and rear suspension setups including the tire sizes.  Please share.

Welcome Yiannis to the BEST SWing forum on the net.
That sure is an interesting looking SWing. You did a lot of great work getting it to that final end. It looks great. Keep up posted and up to date on it.

Hello guys
Thank you for the interest and great thoughts.
It's impossible to anilyze everything that i have done on the scooter so i will try to share most of them.
I have a small custom shop that i use on my spare time
Best bikes for me are the Hondas so i bought the scooter 5 years ago with intension to make it look different.
Is a 02 model with custom frame ( choped and ad on metal parts ) factory engine with some mods on the cover.Rear end and the suspension is from a Ducati 848 with custom swing arm.Custom down pipe with Two Brothers magnesium muffler.I have made the side fairings , the belly pan and all the carbon fibre.
Front forks are factory with ad ons and custom triple on top.Front and rear brake pumps are Brembo with standard calipers.Head light is from a Yamaha MT125 with universal visor.Front fender is from a Kawasaki Z750 .Electronics are standard with shortest wires.
With all this i have gained 50 Kg.
Thank you again

Crikey! Melding a Ducati and a FSC600…. and shortening the wire harness. That’s impressive.

Where did you hide the FSC ECM & Combination Meter boards? The ECM could be pretty much hidden anywhere, but that CM would be a bit more difficult to securely hide away.

Did you chop the frame to fit the FSC engine & drive to marry the Ducati body? Or where did you chop the frame?

Tell us more about the triple tree. Did you somehow incorporate longer fork pipes to fit the triple tree head while using the FSC steering stem & head stock?

WOW! Yiannis! That's a lot more work and knowledge than I would have about mechanics and figuring it all out.
Great Job!!

More questions:

Did you retain the head stock and original engine mount location on the original frame and then chop & add other frame members to fit the Ducati and Kawasaki donor pieces?

...and, of course, how does it handle?

Seating position is interesting. I've often thought that a pair of folding footpegs in a conventional motorcycle location for the rider could be useful.

I love the paddock stand too. It's something I think all bikes should be equipped for - especially 250kg monsters like the SW.
