AF 214 Airflow Installation Tip Empty

I noticed that the piece of plastic that must be drilled through and behind which is the hidden Honda factory installed bolt which will be used to attach the "little piece", can easily be bent out of the way enough to allow one to put a temporary small piece of wood or better, metal, which the drill bit will hit instead of the threads of the hidden bolt. I started with a very small pilot hole and used progressively larger drill bits. I was a little off but the plastic is so soft that I could ream the hole with the bit to get in great position to see the entirety of the threads. Hope this is of help and encouragement. Not hard.

I have written elsewhere on the forum that I used a new/sharp drill bit of the right size to cut the hole; I held it in my hand and pressed hard. It was easy and holding it meant I was unlikely to danage the threads on the captive nut.
As has been said: that's the important thing.
