I read in some posts about using dry lube in the roller ramps. But never saw what was used. (other than graphite for locks).

Anyone have product name and where to get it.

Thanks in advance

MaxB,

I used it in my ramps when I installed my Dr Pulley sliders. I will try to find the pic and post it here. But it seemed to smooth things out some and I'm probably going to do it again since it has been about 6 months since I did it last. I will find the pic.

"B'laster", TDL, the Dry Lube" made with PFTE. Comes in a white spray can with a yellow cap.

Costs about $5.00. I got it a Home Depot.

Don't confuse it with a penetrating lubricant by the same company in a similar looking can.

Dupont also makes a product in a spray can called Teflon Mult-Use Dry Wax Lubricant. I got it at Lowes for a bit under $5. I put it on my Dr. Pulley Sliders and all the faces where the sliders come into contact with

I use the same thing that Cosmic uses. I tried to take a pic of the can but it didn't work out. I think I have a post on here already and will try to find it.

I never thought about using a dry lube on the rollers or ramp. Good idea, I'll do it on my next service.

I put on a Malossi Multivar 2000 almost 5 years ago. I noticed the ramps on it were a little rough and i polished them with a dremel to almost a mirror finish.

When you do that next service give some strong consideration to switching over to Dr Pulley Sliding Weights.
