Newbie in Scotland

Hi Everyone,
I am hailing from the Clyde Valley in Scotland.
I own a 94 VFR750 (the best motorcycle ever built) and a recently purchased 04 SV650 (Just to prove my knees still work).
I just bought my 2003 (29,000 miles) SilverWing a couple of weeks ago to replace my Deauville.
So far I am enjoying the sheer laziness of twist & Go and telling myself constantly to keep my hands off the clutch when accelerating and realizing that tapping on the footboard won't actually slow me down.
I had a look around the forum before my purchase and that helped me make the decision to join the fold and buy the SWing for my daily use bike.
Already enjoying it immensely and look forward to running up some miles on it.

Hi Ian, Glad you're enjoying the Swing! I've got the datatag for the keys should you ever need to order a replacement. I'm off to Glastonbury tomorrow, will be back 29th. Perhaps we can meet so I can give it to you.

hi newbie, i'm just up the road from you in lanark, youll probabaly not see me on the road as my daily commute is lanark to bathgate, rare i get to go down the valley much cept if in the car with her indoors. Had mine 2 years now so getting complacent with the power but sickened off with a sticky front caliper thats becoming an issue after heavy braking. Might be time for new caliper pistons and seals.

Welcome aboard, a trip around the block a time or two and one darn near oppsie got me keeping the both levers are brakes on the first page, that and the freewheeling feature.

Believe he's referring to the newbie rider getting used to his SW and relating to his own experience?
