Lost Summer for me

Early June decided to ride to Key West again---got about half way thru FL----got sick, dizzy, throw up, no power.

Returned to Chattanooga @ about 100 miles at a time, Motel 6 to Motel 6-----US medicine being ranked 36th in world and I am sure TN at the bottom of that list.

Been to Doctors which equals pills here----now the only way to be alert= at least 2 cans of Big Red Pop perday to perk me up.

Old Age? Virus? combo? I think several days of 100F temps, bad food (easy to find in south), bad water?

Been to VA---their idea if you are 75 or older and can walk in and then out=you are ok. Joke?

Over sick stomach, still can be dizzy sometimes, seeing another specialist in the AM.

Bottom Line: sure screwed up any long trips this summer. As I use scooter for general transport, still ride everyday---there are good days and bad days. Driving car ok.....but who wants to do that?

Not going to become trailer biker!

Sure sounds like the case of Moctezuma's Revenge I got once in Baja California. Maybe a bit of dehydration thrown in? Motel 6 sure wouldn't help either unless they're a lot better than on the West coast.

It does sound a bit like Montezuma's revenge but that usually passes in just a few days, sounds like John has been fighting this for months.

Just make sure thru lab testing it's not C-Def, it can be a killer.
