Hi I have aswell just installed a monokey system. But I feel you have made a mistake on mounting the top plate to the givi brackets. Those spacers go underneath the top plate and into those rubber squares that you had on your bench and then you place it all onto the brackets but you will notice that the spacers still pertrude through the brackets holes but you then use the rubber washer around the spacer end and then a metal washer and nut. This gives the whole thing a sort of rubber mounting ( very important ).This is very hard to explain with out a picture. Thanks Shendy |
