| G'day, Does anyone know of any Silverwings have had a Trike conversion here in Australia? What would the cost be and if it is difficult to obtain a Road Worthy Certificate, for road registration with such a major conversion? Thanks Trishc |

| Hi Trish, All I could say would be to contact a trike builder already established in OZ and see what they can do. You may even be able to get a kit from the USA and get the trike builders to set it up. They would have all the necessary contacts to get it through the ADR requirements and also RWC with all the appropriate engineer's certificates.
Try this forum, they may be able to give you advice.

| You might want to contact triketalk.com and inquire there. I think they have some Aussie menbers.

| At the Ulysses Odessey last weekend in Merriden, WA. This is refered to as a Wedge tail. It adds 2 wheels and retains the original drive line. [img]https://i.servimg.com/u /f75/13/47/36/26/file0312.jpg[/img] |

| Hi Kurt, nice pictures of the Trike. I also haven't seen any over here in Victoria. But down here on the coast we are all reving up for the Grand Prix on the 18th, 19th and 20th October. Hoping to get down to Grantville to watch the Cranbourne run come through on the Saturday. Watched it last year and there was about one thousand bikes came through. We are lucky down here at Inverloch the Barry Sheene Tribute ride comes through our little town on the Thursday, about 500 riders last year,so should be good again this year. |

| Good stuff Phillip Island is just a tad too far for me to go to. I love the place. Take care and maybe catch up with you one day... next year around March I'll be in Melb for a couple of major milestone birthday celebrations. I may even get to see the Fairey Penquins, worms and koalas. |

| Unfortunately the Bass worm has shut down last year due to neglect to the inmates who were housed there. Do you think anyone knows what we are talking about on this thread? |

| Yeah, some will as we have discussed this in the past. The Bass (USA prized river fish) fishermen will be most interesed. Big bait=big fish. Now, if Texas had them, we would never hear the end of it. :lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!: :lol!: |

| No idea Gyro, I just took the pic while it was in a carprk.
Maybe someone can enlighten us?
If they fit the Burgy then it could also be available for the Swing. |

If they fit the Burgy then it could also be available for the Swing. I'm fairly certain that it's a Danson kit, based on what I can see of the support frame. It's the single air-shock model. Mine is the dual shock. The wheels are identical to mine, and what is standard in the Danson kit. Danson conversions are also available for the Yamaha Majesty 400 and Suzuki Burgman 400.
