| New member from Fort Worth, TX saying hello! It looks like the wife and I will be headed to Dallas on Monday to check out a new 2012 Swing. She wants a 2-wheel scoot to ride when she wants a change of pace from her Spyder. She had been set on getting one of the new BMW scooters, to keep up with me on my K1600 GTL, until she tried one on for size and found the seat to be too high. I suggested the Swing instead and after just a little bit of research, she's sold on it. I look forward to taking it out for a spin now and then as well. |

| CJ,
Welcome to the site and hope you and your wife enjoy it. I have had many m/c's and the SWing will keep up with your bike, although not as fast as yours, the SWing can do 104 mph per gps. It is also very comfortable and smooth. Tell us how you both like it when your wife gets it. Welcome. |

| CJ, I have only been riding about 2 1/2 years. I started after my husband and I rented a Goldwing down in the Ozarks and I enjoyed being a passenger. Then I took a safety course and decided to ride myself. I prefer the Swing because of the CVT I find it quite comfortable. I have put on over 30,000 miles so far. Bob rides a 2004 BMW R1150R. My brother and his family lived in Keller for a few years. We went down there in 1985 to visit. They are now back up here closer to Chicago. Just north of the WI border about a 65 miles away. Bob and I plan a trip down to McKinney, TX this Sept. I have some good friends that live there. We plan on riding down to the Hill Country when we come down. Your wife should enjoy the Swing. Lots of information on this forum. |
