This is an interesting piece of kit. Might be nice for powering a GPS.

Nice looking unit BUT how exactly are you going to mount this on a scooter?

It is a scooter. Check out the handlebars.

Might work if, like my SW, a previous owner had cut back the handlebar cover to mount some other farkle, which he removed before selling the bike to me.

Are there any mods where people have removed the handlebar covers and are there any pics of them? I am considering this but I'm on the fence about it.

If you remove the handle bar covers you will be able to see right down into the forks and all the wires etc along the way.

Not a pretty sight Wink

My brother installed a power socket inside the locking glove box for me. If I have my GPS plugged in, I just leave the door unlocked, but down tight on the wire snaking out. When I stop, I just put the GPS inside the glove box and lock it. I like the power plug being out of the weather, and hving the glove box cover slightly ajar has not been a problem for me, since I batten it down whenever I stop. I am still able to put tons of stuff in the glove box.

My bold.

Use a needle file and cut a small groove for wires to pass through. You will then be able to close and even lock the compartment leaving the wires in situ!
