MRA Double Bubble Windscreen Empty
PostSubject: MRA Double Bubble Windscreen   MRA Double Bubble Windscreen I_icon_minitimeSat Oct 13, 2012 2:56 pm

After searching through this forum, I have found some info on replacement windscreens, where Givi and Clearview seem to be the most popular brands.

I rekon I'm not the only one experiencing the original screen being a bit too turbulant/noisy, and with my 6ft5 frame (1m95) I'm definitely not the shortest of riders...

Some Googling offered a wider choice than just the Givi and Clearview, and my attention was drawn to the MRA Double Bubble Windscreen, since I've had this type of screen on one of my previous roadbike's fairing.

I would prefer a lower screen with more wind deflection over a higher, less steep model, since I like to look over the windshield, rather than having to live with a distorted view through it, not to mention a screen '6ft high'...

Is there anyone out there that has actually seen/ridden a Silverwing with an MRA (Zero Gravity) Double Bubble Windscreen? Then I would be happy to hear from your experience!

Stick with or try GIVI adjustable----Of all the maxiscooters I have purchased new TMAX/ReFlex/Burgman 400/HelixSilverWing, the SilverWing with the GIVI adjustable can be made the most buffet free=comfort on long rides. I used Baker AirWing on sides and homemade spoiler around feet==really comfortable ride. GIVI makes good stuff.
