bellypan sliders

Hello

I have a slight problem when cornering hard i sometimes touch down with the sidestand and under the belly pan,I was wondering if anyone had encountered this and how they saved the paintwork? mines getting scratched I was thinking of verclo patches with knee sliders other suggetions are welcomed

Knee sliders sound like they would work, since that is what they were designed for. You would not want it to dig into the ground and raise the SWing up during the turn which could cause a lose of control ... so the velcro should help with that. I would suggest using industrial strength velcro which is stronger with greater holding ability.

I know what you mean about lifting the bike up that is my concern so i need something quite thin but strong i will keep my eyes peeled.....i will try and post photos of the scratches and stand over the next few days when i have time.

You know in all my years on a Swing, I've never known anyone to ride one that hard that they have this problem. LOL Is there some special reason that you ride with such intensity? Are you racing it or something?

No not really i think i just like to prove somethings are better than percieved by others almost came unstuck today hit the fairing 'stand and exhaust all together causing the back to slide a bit.. dont know if i was scared or proud though lol luckily small scratches on the bar under the exhaust but the lower fairing took the most of it...As for the racing i am tempted to do a track day for a laugh imagine going past a sports bike on a track

There is a guy in italy who races a Silverwing, but I can't figure out what he does to make it really fast. Does anyone understand written italian?
