New Shoei helmet arrived

At the motorcycle show two weeks ago in Chicago I ordered a new Shoei helmet and it arrived yesterday. Of course the weather is about 10 degrees, with 6 to 8 inches of snow predicted for tonight. So I guess I can just put on my new helmet and sit on my bike in the garage and pretend. This is the longest winter I can remember in my 13 years here in northern Illinois. This is really getting to me. Maybe I should put on the helmet, my new motorcycle jacket, my old boots and gloves and drive my car with the windows open and make believe I am on my SW.

Or you could drive south and don't stop till you are warm

I have a shoei modular helmet and love it.

I just had some friends fly in from Ill yesterday. They said when they left they had a 16 in blizzard. They are enjoying the weather in sunny Arizona, " COME ON DOWN".

I bought one of those helmets (Shoei Multitec) too soon after they were introduced. I had Sierra Electronics install J&M speakers in it immediately.

I have both the clear and the light smoked visors for it. I recently bought the gradient visor (tinted on top and clear on the bottom) but I am disappointed with it. So I've gone back to switching between the clear and tinted visors - much better.

I've worn Shoei helmets for many years and love them. This one is great too. I hardly ever wear the Nolan modular anymore now that Shoei came out with theirs. I like it much better.

And I'm fortunate because I live between the S.F. Bay Area and Sacramento, so I can ride year around.
