| Been riding probably around 7 years or so, got my silver wing for 500 bucks after my Suzuki boulevard s50 was stolen. I've had the silver wing a little over a year now and Loved it ever since! Forum already helped me out with troubleshooting some issues (right hand ignition switch and controls problem) so I thought I would join and try and pay back the favor. |

| Its purple, 2004, now its got about 55k miles on it. The state of it when i got it, lots of the plastic is damaged, missing about every other plastic clip or inset screw... Soon after I think I had a problem with the parking break not functioning as expected, so I just pulled it off. Besides that it was running great. It has a salvage title and got it from a family friend, even still I think I got an amazing deal.
Currently I think there is a problem with the chain tensioner because it has the worst metal slapping sound I've ever heard. So I'm working on that right now lol
No mods yet! but Im thinking about possibly computer modeling some of the plastic parts and 3d printing them as cheap replacements.
any of those endeavors hopefully I can make proper posts about |
