24g Malossi Rollers? Empty
PostSubject: 24g Malossi Rollers?   24g Malossi Rollers? I_icon_minitimeSat Apr 01, 2023 5:17 pm

Hi pals, i bought stock silver wing 400 2010. I already read about dr.pulley rollers, but the price is the thing which i think about standard rollers. Is there anyone installed 24g malossi rollers on stock variator?

And another alternative is new polini variator with 26g rollers - the price is similar to dr.pulley rollers.

Which is better for good start/price?

P.s.: Im in Europe and 24g malossi rollers are 22 euros, dr.pulley rollers are 75 euro and full kit polini variator with 26g rollers are 100 euro.

Hi Luvagen.
Your questions realy require 2 answers.
Firstly, Dr.Pulley Rollers are the same shape as OEM rollers, just available in different weights, so no real point in buying the rollers. Dr.Pulley Sliders on the other hand are designed to improve low end gearing and increase top end speed. So its just a simple swap out for improved overall performance.

Secondly, Malossi rollers were realy designed to go with their version of a Varaitor with different slope angles to Stock, same for the Polini varaitor and rollers. So allthough the "rollers" are cheaper than Dr.Pulleys you will need their Varaitors to get the most from them.

So on costings, Dr.Pulley sliders 26g are the cheapest way to gain a noticeable power increase. Tried and tested method.
Also fully read members posts on the subject using the search box and key words.

Hope this helps.
