I checked the front and back connections.
Turn signals work fine
Horn fine
Tried both brakes with bike ignition on and the running.
No brake lights.
Any ideas.

Update.
I took the two wires off the brake switch on the right side, turn on the key and touched them together and the brake lights came on. I would say the switch is bad.

The left brake switch has 4 wires. Too complicated to me. Any advice.

You might try buying a good contact cleaner, get one that's plastic friendly then spray the switches while working them. That would be my 1st step in trying.

The 4 wires on the left brake lever are 2 for the brake and 2 for the starter interlock.
As mentioned above it might be worth giving them a good clean and rub with a bit of sandpaper. I had a similar issue last year when the bike didn't want to start, a good clean of the contacts and all is well.

first remember SilverWings are now old bikes---but ridden very little----WD-40 on switches and switch area can fix things up. Sidecar? who hooked up sidecar brake lights?

The left brake switch is a bit tricky and I recall having to bend one of the actuating tangs to get it functioning reliably. A new switch is probably not a bad idea. The microswitches on both sides do get some corrosion and dirt and stop switching nicely; WD40 or Deoxit contact cleaner might well do the job with no disassembly.

I just replaced my brake switch on the left side. Starter switch still worked but brake light did not. Very easy replacement and working great now. You live in Florida and if close to the water the corrosion will be bad...

Personally I would avoid WD40 for this purpose. It is a light oil and while it might help a little it will attract dirt. Use an electronic cleaner from an auto parts store, good to have on hand.
Good luck.

Can of electronic cleaner will be here on the 10th.
