I know it's come up before elsewhere in the forum, but I think it's worth another mention: If you have a 2003, be sure you've had the fuel tank recall checked/done (as well as the other two recalls for that year).

I recently bought a 2003 with only 725 miles on it, and (stupid me) I didn't look inside the fuel tank until I was driving it home and stopped to fill up. When I took the gas cap off, I realized that there was a pretty good amount of rust in the mouth of the tank (fortunately the rest of the tank looked fine). After kicking myself for not checking something that should have been an obvious concern for something that had been driven an average of <100 miles/year, I cleaned up what I could without knocking rust into the tank, filled up, and drove the rest of the way home.

I thought I'd have to buy another tank (or at very least take the old one out and try to clean and seal it), but after poking around the forum, I found out about the tank recall, and called Honda about it. Fortunately, it's still an open recall, and the previous owner hadn't bothered to take it in and get it done. So, the dealer put a new one in for free, saving me a considerable amount of time and expense. I ran SeaFoam in the first couple of tanks just in case there was any crud elsewhere in the system, and now (300+ miles later) everything seems to be fine and running nice and smooth.
