Right chaps i need a bit of advice. A couple of days ago i put some petrol into the scooter out of a container i had, the petrol was only a few months old, the scoot started instantly then died, i syphoned the old petrol out and put new petrol in but it will not start or show any attempt to start. I have checked all fuses sprayed the l/hand lever switches and kill switch and checked that the s/stand switch is working and all seem to be ok. I don't seem to get a good spark at the spark plug or it may be that i cant get a good view of the plug tip. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Find a fresh fully charged battery and try again.

Battery is top notch, looks like I might have water in the petrol, I am in the process of draining the tank, new petrol then try again. By the way I have had the beast starting to fire so complete drain and new petrol should sort it out (hopefully), will let you know the out come...Pud.

Just for giggles you may want to pull the plugs, clean / gap them. Water is not your friend unless blended with hops:)

You are right there my friend, actually  the plugs are pretty much clean and I run on Iridium plugs. I have a good feeling all will be well once the old petrol is out and new put in. The first lot of water/petrol that I got out was pretty much thinned out emulsion but the rest didn't look too bad.  Pud.
