Lights and fuses Empty
PostSubject: Lights and fuses   Lights and fuses I_icon_minitimeWed Oct 24, 2018 4:31 pm

Its me again. Well my low beam headlight is out on my2002swing. SO where to buy replacement. HL 55. And other bulbs that one might need. Fuses are pretty straight forward.
Thanks Lugwrench

Any auto store will have the bulb. H7 is high and low beam bulb. Unless 02 is different mine takes H7 bulb. What is HL 55.??

OK Plastic cover above light needs to be removed for low beam. Screws and some tabs. 2 from behind windshield and 2 in the vent from front side. PRY it loose gently and remove it. Its tight in there.
Remove connector then rubber boot. Small metal retainer holds the bulb into housing push it in to unhook it then it swings on a hinge out of way. There is a plastic spacer on back of bulb pull it off and install on new bulb. Hardest part is getting that wire retainer hooked back into headlight housing.

Take your time. Get a good flash light to see how that wire is hooked in headlight housing.
