friends hello from turkey

my english is not very good already apologize

I own the fjs 600 in the 2007 model 96000 km

my motorcycle is in trouble for a long time while it is cold.

I come to your head

sometimes it works but it smells too much gas and sometimes it does not work at all. the spark plug gets wet and smells too much gasoline. it works fine when I disassemble the spark plug, heat it and clean it. why does the spark plug get wet?

sometimes the relay falls too late when you work

Thank you in advance for your help.

greetings from turkey lovers

I would replace the injectors or you could get them ultrasonicly cleaned.
If they are still the originals after 96000 km I wouldn’t be surprised if it would solve your problem.
Otherwise it might be a fuel pressure problem, but I would start with the injectors.

Have you checked the air filter ? if dirty it can starve the engine of air, resulting in too rich mixute of fuel to air.
How old are the spark plugs, have you tried new ones ?

Your fuel pressure regulator has failed, Replace it and your troubles will be solved, It is located at the right end of the fuel rail, Under the center plastic cover.

Happy Motoring lloyd 193.

Hello from Texas. I agree its probably fuel pressure regulator. Several years ago I had same problem (very rich on start) on a Honda mc and after replacing the regulator problem solved.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their interest and interest

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator with a used spare I found. I'm currently testing the engine, but I guess it was not a problem. I will order the new

Thank you for your nice comments.

Um... Not quite sure what you mean to say. Did the (used) Fuel Pressure Regulator solve the problem? And now you are ordering a new FPR?

serkanpiner,
The regulator is a contained unit so you could not have tore it. There is  an O-ring that can be damaged when installing the regulator. Use a new O-ring when replacing the regulator. Also check if the vacuum hose have an air leak.
If all the above is ok, then remove the right side plastic cover and check if the air filter is clean. Replace if dirty.
Other than the above checks, I would check if the idle vacuums are  synchronized between the two throttle bodies. This is a little more technical and maybe a Honda service center is better to do this.
Good luck!

Unless you intentionally poked something into the new fuel pressure regulator it is improbable that the internal diaphragm is damaged.

Because the engine seems to, initially, operate okay after you remove and clean the spark plugs, but those same plugs are wet at the times when the engine wont start, I think that might suggest that the ignition coil is not producing enough spark (weak spark) to fire a fouled plug.

It could also be that the air filter is so dirty that the air / fuel mixture is so rich that it is causing the plugs to foul.

If you haven't checked the air filter (as others have advised) already then you should do that now. If the filter is clean then you should remove the right side floor skirt panel (under the foot step) and check the ignition coil and spark plug wires. Perhaps you could see if the coil or wires are arcing to to the frame or engine when you attempt to start the scooter --a test which is best done in the dark. You'll need the help of a friend for that job.

Maybe you will need to try another ignition coil as a test.

Another thought is that maybe your fuel is contaminated with water, and that's causing your problem.

Is this FJS600 new to you or have you had the scooter for a time and this problem has just now developed? Did the starting problem suddenly occur of has the problem gotten worse over time.

I apologize for the late reply. the problem has improved after the replacement of the regulator for the time being, the first operation is no longer repeated without hope. thanks for the advice.
